The Day I Decided to Enter the World of Blogging

Okay so I figured it might be time to start a blog of some sort seeing as everyone else in the world has one.  I figure this blog will include a collection of things going on in my life and crafty projects I'm working on.

Today's big task was outside work.  For anyone who knows us, you probably already know that gardening/yard work is not our strong suit. In the end, we were able to pull out some of the tree size weeds so the neighbors don't gawk and install our raised garden for vegetables.  Also my flower boxes at the front of the house are not only still alive after 3 weeks but flourishing nicely.

Tonight's craft project of choice is to hopefully finish one more character on the Batman & Friends cross stitch that I purchased from Wee Little Stitches on Etsy.  If you like to cross stitch more modern looking pieces, I highly recommend checking them out.  http://www.etsy.com/shop/weelittlestitches
